How Do I View Quiz Results?

Test results are why we give Tests - to determine user skills, knowledge obtained, understanding of content. Test creators and Test-takers await the outcome of these results.

Do you have Test-takers asking How do I view quiz results? Well, we have the answers.

How users view their results will depend on how you have given your Test. With ClassMarker, you can provide your Tests via Groups or Links.

There are three ways for your Test-takers to view their results with ClassMarker:

Log in to a Test-taker account to see previously taken Test results.
View results on-screen immediately upon Test completion.
Email. Test-takers can view results that are sent to their email.

Let's take a deeper look into these three options:

1. Log in to a Test taker account to see previously taken Test results.

If you use Groups to give your Tests, users log in to a Test-taker account, for taking Tests and reviewing results.

You can provide the below details to Test takers who require this information, for logging in to view their results.

Go to https://www.classmarker.com and enter your username and password.
If there are Tests available to take, you will see a 'Start' option.
If you have results available for viewing, you will see a 'Results' option.
If you have a Test in progress to continue, you will see a 'Resume' option.
If you do not see results available, this Test may be set not to display results or be set to be viewed later. Always check with your Instructor regarding any Test related inquiries if you are unsure.

ClassMarker Tip: To notify users about viewing student results, you can add a Group message so that all members in that Group will see this message. A Group Message is a great spot to notify users if results should display or not. You may have some Tests within the Group that you choose to show results for and others you are not. Notifying users will assist Test takers in knowing what to expect upon Test completion, and they will not be scrambling to reach out to you, thinking they didn't receive their results.

Within the Group Message box, you can add notes such as:

Mathematics Test - Results will be available upon completion.
Grammar Test - I Will send the results at a later date.
Practice Quiz - No results will be displayed.

2. View results on-screen immediately upon Test completion.

Whether you give your Tests via Groups or Links, your Test takers can view their results on-screen immediately upon Test completion.

You choose what displays on results pages. Your Test takers can see the following details on their results pages. These are all optional, of course. You can select all to display, a few options, or not show any.

Percentage
Custom Feedback
Graded Questions
Reveal correct answers
Display incorrect questions only
Results by Category
Certificate download link (if applying a certificate to this Test)

Note: If a Test taker closes out of a Test taken on a link, the results will no longer be available once they close the browser tab.

If adding custom feedback that will display on the results page, you can also add a note stating results will be sent on a specific date, or to contact them for the result details, etc. Users will know what to expect moving forward after completing the Test.

Did you know? Just as easy as it is for Test takers to view results, it is just as simple for you to view view quiz responses anytime! You can do so from within your ClassMarker administrator account, have results emailed to your email or Assistant email addresses, export results, along with our API/Webhooks to have results sent back to your own system!

3. Email. Test-takers can view results that are sent to their email.

You can email quiz results to all users, regardless of how you give your Tests.

When users receive their emailed results, this can include any of the following details: (These are the same options that can display on-screen after the user completed their Test.

Results are emailed immediately upon Test completion, or you can set specific dates/times to have the results emailed automatically.

You can also send results manually to individuals if grading essay questions are required.

If users require another copy of the results, you can send Test-takers their results anytime from their individual results page.
